Arghakhanchi Cement donates Rs 6.75 lakh to Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund

Bhairahawa. Employees of Arghakhanchi Cement Industry have pledged to provide Rs 6.75 lakh to the families affected by the floods in Bhotekoshi.

The amount collected spontaneously by the employees will be deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund, said Uddhav Karki, general manager of the industry. According to him, the employees have voluntarily collected the amount to help in the relief and rescue of the victims during the disaster.

“The employees collected the money after consulting each other with the feeling that we should also help in times of trouble,” he said. He said that this is the first time that the employees working in the industry have voluntarily collected a large amount of money and are helping the families affected by the disaster.

The amount was collected with the participation of Assistant General Manager Krishna Pandey and other staffers.
