Kathmandu. The construction of a tuin connecting the monastery from Indrayanichaur of Bidur Municipality-1 in Nuwakot district has been started after the flood in the Trishuli River via Bhotekoshi caused damages to the concrete and suspension bridges constructed over the river.
The construction of tuins has been started through the Infrastructure Development Office after the bridges crossing the Trishuli River were washed away by the floods, especially in Trishuli Hospital. The under-construction tuin is targeted to be completed and operational by tomorrow.
According to the Infrastructure Development Office, the tuins have been constructed to make alternative arrangements for the time being after the regular movement across the river was disrupted due to the floods. According to the office, tuins will be installed at five places in the district, including the place connecting Indrayanichaur and Gumba.
Due to the damage to the bridges, there has been a problem in the daily movement of the locals as well as in the transportation of essential materials for health institutions and other essential services. It is expected that the river crossing will be easier for the time being after the operation of the tuin.
