KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah and Nepali Communist Party (NCP) leader Barshaman Pun have held a meeting today. During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, they discussed the disaster caused by the flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa and the subsequent search, rescue, treatment and relief distribution.

During the meeting, they discussed about providing immediate assistance to the flood-affected people and making rescue and relief works effective in the affected areas.

Likewise, the meeting also discussed the issues of resumption of flood-damaged roads, bridges, electricity and other infrastructures and taking necessary initiatives to normalize the condition of the flood-affected areas.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shah had also met Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising. In the meeting held at Singha Durbar, contemporary issues including the Bhotekoshi floods were discussed.
