Sanima Bank convenes AGM to endorse dividend proposal

KATHMANDU: Sanima Bank has called its AGM to approve the dividend announced to be distributed to shareholders from the profits of the last financial year. The bank has called its 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, September 28 at Amrapali Bank, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 11 am.

The AGM of the bank will pass a proposal to distribute 10 percent cash dividend (including tax purposes) of the current paid-up capital. Similarly, the AGM of the bank will also pass a proposal to distribute 8.25 percent cash dividend with tax on a proportionate basis to the preferred shareholders on the basis of the period from the date of allotment of shares to the end of the financial year.

Similarly, the meeting will also endorse a proposal to authorize the Board of Directors to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association and elect 2 directors representing the general public.

For the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution, the bank will close the book for one day on September 15. Accordingly, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till September 14 will be able to participate in the general meeting of the bank and receive the dividend to be distributed by the bank.
