After the irresponsible statement of the Industry Minister, the gas industrialists and the Prime Minister’s Secretariat discussed, what happened?

KATHMANDU: After Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari Yadav made an irresponsible and controversial statement in the parliamentary committee meeting on Wednesday, LP Gas industrialists have reached the Prime Minister’s Office.

The industrialists were dissatisfied with the fact that they had warned the industrialists that they would have to tighten the leaf and cancel the license of the industry as they could not manage the gas in the market due to the shortage of gas in the market. The secretariat of Prime Minister Balendra Shah has called the industrialists and discussed them.

Shiva Ghimire, immediate past president of Nepal LP Gas Industry Association, said that the meeting was called by Prime Minister Balen’s secretariat on Wednesday evening. During the discussion, how can the current shortage of gas be reduced? He told Nivesh News that serious discussions were held on how to make the gas supply more convenient.

He said that the discussion was very positive. There is a further shortage of gas after the floods in Bhotekoshi damaged the road infrastructure.

At a time when the industrialists are working to make the gas supply easy, the industrialists who were disappointed by the minister’s statement have felt a bit at ease after meeting the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

During the meeting, the Secretariat requested the industrialists to ease the supply of cooking gas by importing maximum amount of cooking gas before removing the landslide at Krishnabhir and ease the supply.
