Kathmandu. Hathway Investment Nepal Company is going to invest Rs 40 crore in two companies.

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Wednesday decided to invest in Bijaya Sugar Mills Limited and Vision Tesla Power Pvt Ltd as per the long-term investment policy.

The company is going to buy 25 lakh units of promoter shares of Bijay Shree Sugar Mills Limited at a price of Rs 100 per share.

Similarly, Vision Tesla Power Pvt Ltd has decided to buy 1.5 million units of promoter shares worth Rs 150 million at the rate of Rs 150 per share in the under-construction 24.921 MW Induwa Khola Hydropower Project in Makalu Rural Municipality of Sankhuwasabha.

Hathway Investment said in a statement that it has decided to invest in the two companies as part of its long-term investment policy by diversifying its investments regionally.
