Kathmandu. Deepak Kumar Sah has been sworn in as the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to President Ram Chandra Poudel on Thursday.
Sah, a member of the House of Representatives elected from Sunsari-4, has been appointed as a minister in place of Gauri Kumari Yadav, who resigned from the post after she resigned from the post of minister.
Yadav has been accused of failing to manage the gas supply to the people.
Now this responsibility has come on Shah’s shoulders.
There has been a shortage of gas due to the flood in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa district on August 10 and the landslide on the road at Krishna Chir. Now consumers are standing in the line of gas day and night. They have not been able to get gas even after standing in line.
Black marketing of gas has also started. Now those who get gas are complaining that they are paying Rs 26,2700 per cylinder.
