Prabhu Bank’s directors and employees donate more than Rs 40 lakh to flood victims

 

Kathmandu. The directors and employees of Prabhu Bank have voluntarily collected Rs 40,80,050 to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the families affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank, Suman Sharma, handed over the cheque to the Hon’ble Finance Minister amidst a programme at the Ministry of Finance today.

According to the bank, the amount has been raised to support the people affected by the disaster in relief, rescue and rehabilitation.

Earlier, Prabhu Bank had provided 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to the flood-affected families through the District Administration Office, Nuwakot.

Likewise, the bank has handed over a cheque of Rs 21,111,111 to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund as part of its corporate social responsibility.
