Lamjung. The Besisahar-Chame road linking Lamjung and Manang will be completely closed from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm today for the construction of the road at Dharapani of Naso rural municipality-3 in Manang.

According to Chief District Officer of Manang Mukti Prasad Khanal, the 135-megawatt Manang Marsyangdi Hydropower Project is going to slope around 50 meters of road in Dharapani area.

He said that the road is being completely closed as alternative arrangements could not be made for the operation of vehicles during the slope as the road is narrow and there are houses on both sides.

No type of vehicles will be allowed to ply from 9 am to 5 pm today. He said that heavy vehicles will not be allowed from 5 pm to 10 am tomorrow.
