KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Ashok Raj Sigdel has left for Beijing today to attend the thirteenth Beijing Shangsang Forum.
According to the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Army, Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lt Gen Pradeep Jung KC will take charge of the Acting Chief of Army Staff in his absence.
The Nepal Army has expressed the belief that the visit of the Chief of Army Staff would help expand the military-to-military relations and contribute to the country’s foreign policy through military diplomacy.
