Gravel started on the track opened at Krishnabhir

Chitwan. Graveling has started on the track built at Krishnabhir on the Prithvi Highway from today. Graveling has been started along with the widening and leveling of the road.

The track is being constructed by opening the adjacent hills after the Trishuli River flooded on August 30 and collapsed at the base of the road. The work is going on at a rapid pace from both sides. According to Dheeraj Dhakal, an engineer of the western section of the Naubise-Muglin Road Project, the gravel laying work is going on.

Engineer Dhakal informed that a large number of equipment and manpower has been mobilized to complete the work within a few days. This is the main highway connecting the capital Kathmandu. More than 14,000 vehicles pass through this road every day. Due to the current road blockage, the capital has to face the shortage of food including gas.TAG_OPEN_div_7
