Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declines by 21.19 points

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle’s 21-point action plan on capital market consolidation and revival on Monday has limited the positive impact of the stock market to a day. The stock market, which rose by a high point on Tuesday, fell again on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the NEPSE index rose 48.57 points to close at 2,633.62 points as investors showed enthusiasm after the Ministry of Finance released the action plan. However, the market fell by 21.19 points to 2,612.42 points on Wednesday.

Today, along with the stock market, the trading amount has also decreased. On the previous trading day, i.e. on Tuesday, shares were traded at Rs 5.38 billion, 95 lakh 74 thousand rupees.

The indices of all the 13 sub-groups traded today declined. Among them, the index of the hydropower sub-group decreased the most by 1.04 percent. Similarly, the index of the life insurance sub-group decreased by more than 1 percent and the index of the non-life insurance sub-group decreased by about 1 percent.

Today, the share price of Narayani Development Bank has increased by 6.37 percent. Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company is in the top position on the basis of turnover today. Today, the shares of the company worth Rs 37.95 crore have been traded.
