Kathmandu. Bikash Hydropower Company Limited has declared a dividend to the shareholders from the profit of the last financial year 2082-83. The company has announced to distribute 10.5263 percent bonus shares.

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on September 14 has proposed to distribute 10 percent of the existing paid-up capital of Rs 991 million after getting approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Accordingly, the shareholders will get 9,09,101.3 units of bonus shares. Similarly, it has proposed to distribute a cash dividend of 0.5263 per cent of the paid-up capital i.e. about Rs 4,784,600 for tax purposes on bonus shares.

The dividend will have to be approved by the Electricity Regulatory Commission and endorsed by the upcoming general meeting.
