223 savers of four cooperatives including Shivashikhar and Gorkha get back their savings

{{TAG_OPEN_div_12}Kathmandu. The Troubled Cooperative Management Committee has returned the savings of 223 people of four troubled cooperatives. According to the committee, the amount of small savers of Shiva Shikharka, Kantipur, Agriculture Development and Gorkha Cooperatives has been refunded.

TAG_OPEN_div_10 The government has clarified that the amount received from the loan recovery of the problematic cooperative has been returned to the aggrieved savers.

In the first phase, the amount was returned to the savers with a small amount of savings, the committee said. In this way, the amount will be returned by classifying the savers on the basis of their amount.

Debt recovery from problematic cooperatives and return savings from the proceeds from property management to the savers of the cooperatives are being carried out continuously in accordance with the prevailing legal provisions.
