I am confident that China will cooperate in this regard. ’

Bhandari said the Prime Minister’s visit to India will also take place after the China visit and this issue will be a priority in India as well. Similarly, he said that preparations were underway to move ahead with motorable bridge and Pancheshwor project at Jhulaghat border point of Baitadi bordering India.

“The Prime Minister has talked about the Integrated Mahakali Treaty and Pancheshwor Project. Perhaps this year we will move forward by implementing the treaty. For which India’s consent is also needed. Minister Bhandari said that issues related to Dodhara Chandani dry port and Mahakali corridor are also on priority.

At the same time, he said that he was working for the overall development of Baitadi. “Although there is a lot of budget for the development of Baitadi, there have been problems in its implementation. There have been problems like contractors not working on time, disputes between locals, etc. This problem should be solved at the local level. ’
