A Nepal Airlines plane carrying four passengers from Kathmandu today left for Kathmandu while five passengers left for Kathmandu from Taplejung in the same aircraft. Narayan Kumar Karki, station in-charge of Nepal Airlines Corporation Taplejung, said six flights have been affected since June due to the weather.
With the onset of the monsoon season, flights have been affected due to adverse weather, he said. Currently, flights to Kathmandu-Taplejung-Kathmandu are scheduled for two days a week on Monday and Friday. The fare from Taplejung to Kathmandu has been fixed at Rs 9,200 per person.
