Kathmandu. Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower Company is going to issue ordinary shares (IPO) to the general public from May 7.
The company has been permitted to issue 42,30,668 units of shares worth Rs 423,66,800 i.e. 35.26 percent of the issued capital of Rs 1.20 billion.
Out of the total offered shares, 1.2 million units have been allotted for locals, 303,067 units have been allotted for those going abroad for foreign employment, 151,533 units have been allotted for mutual fund and 60,613 units have been allotted for employees.
The company is issuing 25,15,455 units of shares to the general public.
Applications can be placed for the IPO from a minimum of 10 units to a maximum of 50,000 units. Applications can be submitted for the IPO till May 11.
Prabhu Capital is the issue manager for the IPO issuance. Investors can apply through the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), the banks and financial institutions that are members of the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON).
