Kathmandu. The Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) and the Aeronautical Society of Nepal (ASAN) have signed an agreement to make Nepal’s aviation sector safer, more united, sustainable and technology-friendly.
Speaking at the program, Association President Pratap Jung Pandey said that the agreement is an important step for the long-term development and safety of the aviation sector of Nepal.
The agreement will promote digital transformation, automation, data-driven decision making systems and use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) in the aviation sector in Nepal.
They will work jointly to face the rapidly changing aviation industry worldwide and to strengthen Nepal’s aviation system in line with international standards.
The collaboration will bring together airlines, airports, service providers, engineers, technical human resources, researchers, academicians and students under a single platform. It is also believed that the exchange of knowledge, experience and innovation will help create a safe, efficient and future-oriented aviation environment.
