Kathmandu. On the last trading day of the week, the market fell slightly.

The index, which measures the market, decreased by 2 points to sit at 2649.51 points. A total of 7,727,649 units of shares of 359 companies were traded at a total of Rs 3,945,58,552.

The prices of 85 companies increased while the prices of 170 companies declined. The sub-indices of hotel, hydropower, non-life insurance and trading groups increased while the sub-indices of other sub-indices decreased.

Share prices of Snow Rivers, Taksar Pikhuwakhola Hydropower and Yambling Hydropower Company increased in the positive circuit level.

Global IME Debentures 2086/087, Global IME Debentures 2084/085 and Nepa Bank were the top gainers in terms of turnover amount.
