KATHMANDU: Former President of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) RK Sharma has donated Rs 25 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rescue of the flood-affected people.

Sharma has extended his sorrow over the loss of lives and property in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and other districts due to the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers that entered Nepal via Tibet on August 26.

In a statement issued on Friday, Sharma paid tribute to those who lost their lives in this hour of natural calamity and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and prayed for the strength of the bereaved families.
