Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker and mother of Rasik Khatiwada, who was martyred in the Genji movement, has questioned the government when the martyrs will get justice.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Khatiwada drew the government’s attention that the families of martyrs have not been able to feel justice even after a year of the Jenji movement.

She expressed dissatisfaction that Prime Minister Shah was not present at the memorial meeting organized in memory of the Jenji martyrs on Tuesday. She said that the Prime Minister was not present even though he was asked to participate in the program and speak and paid tribute through social media only in the evening.

“It’s been a year since the Genji Movement. The country got a martyr from the Genji Martyr, got a day off,” she said, “The status came from 7 in the morning at 7 in the morning, saying that either come with an invitation, say something, write something in the name of the Jenji martyr.” Finally, a tribute to the martyr after a year. ’

She posed two questions to the government in this context. “How many years will the government get justice for the martyrs? How many years will it take to meet the families of the martyrs and the injured?” she asked.

Khatiwada had lost her 23-year-old son Rasik Khatiwada during the Zenji movement on September 9 last year.

Khatiwada has been nominated to the House of Representatives from the proportional representation of the RSP. She has been saying that the government should be serious about justice, respect and the responsibility of the state for the families of the martyrs and injured in the Jenji movement.
