Ncell employees donate Rs 33.5 lakh to Bhotekoshi flood victims

Kathmandu. Ncell Axiata Limited has collectively contributed Rs 33.50 million for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.

The receipt of the amount collected from the employees deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund was handed over to Minister for Information and Communications Dr. Bikram Timilsina today. Chief Regulatory and Corporate Services Officer of Ncell Axiata Limited Dilliram Shrestha handed over the amount.

The floods in the Bhotekoshi River have caused huge loss of life and property in various areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Chitwan. The government and non-government sectors are mobilizing assistance for the rescue, relief distribution and rehabilitation of the flood-affected people.

Ncell Axiata Limited has already made an institutional contribution of Rs One Crore to Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
