JCB India felicitates Nepalese customers involved in flood rescue

KATHMANDU: JCB India has honored two Nepali clients, Ain Bahadur Raut and Netra Bahadur Adhikari, for their significant contribution in the rescue operation during the recent floods in Nepal.

They were felicitated at the JCB Pavilion at WOWMA Expo India 2026. Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director, JCB India, personally appreciated their efforts.

Using JCB 221 tracked excavators and other machines, Raut and Adhikari worked continuously for several days at the Trishuli 3A site. Due to which it was possible to rescue two trapped people alive.

In his speech, the CEO of JCB India described it as a “story of instilling hope even in the face of a disaster like the one seen in Nepal”. He said that both of them were very simple and humble even after such a big adventure.

Through JCB WOW Service Vehicles, MAW Earth Movers is conducting a JCB Disaster Relief Special Free Service Camp covering the JCB machines deployed for rescue, relief and reconstruction in Nuwakot and Dhading. In addition, the company has also distributed safety kits to the operators of the machines deployed for rescue and reconstruction in risky situations.
