Kathmandu. The government has appointed Pitambar Bhandari as the executive officer of the Deposit and Credit Guarantee Fund.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday appointed him to the post on the recommendation of the Ministry of Finance.

At a program organized by the Ministry on Wednesday, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle handed over the appointment letter to Bhandari and wished her a successful tenure. He directed her to be committed to the responsibility of protecting the dignity of the institution and the deposit security of the citizens.
