Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The closed session of the special general convention of the Nepali Congress is underway at Bhrikutimandap in the capital today.
The closed session that started on Monday discussed the reports presented by both the general secretaries.
The closed session is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am today.
Coordinator of the Special General Convention Publicity Committee, Subash Pokharel, said that the group discussion that started in 9 groups from Monday will be continued today as well.
After the approval of the report, a closed session of the special general convention will be held to elect the leadership. However, efforts are also being made to reach a consensus among the leaders.
So far, 63 percent of the delegates have registered their names for the special convention. As of Monday, 63 per cent of the delegates had registered their names.
