The Marsyangdi river has been blocked by huge boulders with mud in the Ghatte rivulet located at the head of the Lamjung Himalaya. Assistant Chief District Officer Poudel said that a study is being carried out to restore the flow of the river by detonating bombs without causing damage to the surrounding areas. He said that if the river could be opened, the fear of the locals would end soon.
