TAG_OPEN_span_6 Kathmandu: The 15th National Convention of the Nepali Congress is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from October 3.

Issuing a press release, acting chief secretary of the NC central office, Krishna Prasad Dulal, said that the regional conventions of the provincial assemblies and the House of Representatives were postponed by two days due to delay due to heavy rains in different parts of the country. Earlier, the NC had postponed the general convention from October 1 to 29 two days later than the scheduled time.

“The regional conventions of the State Assemblies and the regional conventions of the House of Representatives are being held in the midst of the completion of the ward and local level conventions under the party’s general convention, the 15th general convention has been postponed till October 3 keeping in mind the difficult situation created by the heavy rainfall in different parts of the country,” he said.

The opening ceremony of the party’s 15th general convention will be held at Khula Manch on October 3 at 2 pm.
