After 36 years, 26 families of Buddhashanti become legal landowners

{{TAG_OPEN_div_16}Kathmandu. The District Land Problem Resolution Committee, Jhapa has distributed land ownership certificates to 26 families of Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-4.

{{TAG_OPEN_div_14} Locals who have not been able to own land in their name for a long time have become legal landowners after getting land ownership certificates.

TAG_OPEN_div_12 According to the committee, these families who received the land ownership certificates had been living in the area since 2047 BS. They have been living in a haphazard manner for a long time and have acquired the ownership of the land in their name.

TAG_OPEN_div_10 According to the details made public by the committee, some of the land is for housing purposes and some for agricultural purposes. The government has given high priority to solving the problems of landless Dalits, landless squatters and unorganized settlers.
