Kathmandu. The Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed him from the Insurance Authority of Nepal (IBA) after the government sacked him from the Insurance Authority.

Ojha has gone to the court demanding that the decision to sack him should not be implemented immediately.

A single bench of Justice Sharanga Subedi issued the interim order today. At the same time, the court has summoned both the parties for discussion.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on August 2 had sacked Ojha from the post of chairman of the NRA.

The government has sacked Ojha and 14 people have applied for the post of new president.
