Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress Far-Western Province Parliamentary Party has pledged to provide Rs 3,60,833 for the rescue and relief of the flood victims.

Kamal Bahadur Shah, the parliamentary party leader, said he would contribute his one month’s salary while other state assembly members would contribute an amount equivalent to 10 days’ salary.

Shah said the financial assistance was announced to support rescue, relief and rehabilitation after the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River caused huge loss of life and property.
