Kathmandu. In the Federal Civil Service Bill, a provision has been made to increase the number of leave available to government employees to 9 types.

Earlier, government employees used to get 8 types of leave. In the bill, it has been proposed to increase the monthly leave for women employees.

Government employees have been getting sick leave, home leave, maternity and maternity leave, maternity leave, death rite leave, study leave and extraordinary leave. Menstrual leave will also be added to it. However, there is no clear provision in the bill for how many days of menstrual leave will be available.
