House of Representatives sends three financial bills to committee for clause-wise discussion

Kathmandu. The House of Representatives has sent three bills related to economic issues to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion. Today’s meeting of the House of Representatives passed the proposal to send the ‘Citizens Investment Trust (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083’, ‘Payment and Settlement (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’ and ‘Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083’ to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle had presented a proposal to send the bills to the concerned committee. Hari Dhakal, Chairman of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, presented the report of the Committee on Remuneration, Conditions of Service and Facilities of Office-bearers of Constitutional Bodies (First Amendment), 2083 BS.

The meeting also expressed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family on the demise of former lawmaker Ghanendra Basnet on September 30. The House of Representatives will next meet at 11:00 am on Friday.
