Life Insurance Company’s Business Grows By 33 Percent in July

Kathmandu. In the first month of the current fiscal year 2083/84, the business of life insurance companies has increased significantly. In the first month of the current fiscal year, 14 life insurance companies have done a total business of Rs 217.13 billion.

It has increased by 32.55 percent compared to the same period of the previous financial year. In the same period of the last fiscal year, these companies had a total business of Rs 163.80 billion.

Nepal Life Insurance has done the most business in the month of July. The company has a business of Rs 56.33 billion. In the same month last year, the business of the company was Rs 51.53 billion. According to this, the business of Nepal Life Insurance has increased by 9.31 percent.

In second place is National Life Insurance Company. The business of the company has increased from Rs 3.92 billion to Rs 37.43 billion. With this, the business of the company has increased by 854.2 percent.

Similarly, the business of National Life increased by 19.6 percent to Rs 23.80 billion. Himalayan Life has a turnover of Rs 19.88 billion, Life Insurance Corporation Nepal has a turnover of Rs 19.06 billion and Surya Jyoti Life has a turnover of Rs 11.95 billion.

IME Life Insurance has increased by 26.4 percent in July. Reliable Nepal Life Insurance has increased by 18.18 percent, Sun Nepal Life has increased by 15.84 percent, Sanima Reliance Life has increased by 16.38 percent and Asian Life has increased by 15.65 percent.

Similarly, Citizen Life Insurance has a growth of 9.28 percent, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance by 12.45 percent and Met Life by 10.61 percent.
