Grace General Convention: Nominations for 297 posts

{{TAG_OPEN_p_12} Kathmandu. Nominations have been filed for various posts under the general convention of the Nepali Congress. According to the election committee, candidacies have been filed for 297 posts in the general convention.

The post of senior vice-president and woman vice-president has been elected unopposed. Bishwa Prakash Sharma, who was elected as the vice-president through the special general convention, has been elected as senior vice-president and Pushpa Bhusal as woman vice-president.TAG_OPEN_p_11

Gagan Thapa, Kishor Singh Rathore and Shyam Krishna Khadki are vying for the post of president. Gagan was a member of the Free Student Union (FSU) of Tri Chandra Campus when he was the president of the Free Student Union (FSU), while Gagan was a teacher at Khadki Siddhartha Banasthali School.TAG_OPEN_p_10

TAG_OPEN_p_9 For the post of open vice-president, Dr. Chandra Bhandari, Devraj Chalise, Surendra Raj Pandey, Madhu Acharya, Dr. Minendra Rijal, Deepak Giri, Dhanraj Gurung, Govinda Bhattarai and Dr. Chandra Mohan Yadav have filed their candidacies.
